ABCO Transmissions, established in 1988, operating with the same owner for over a decade, serving a wide variety of units from foreign to domestic. ABCO specializes and deals with late model units, that need the use of electronic scanning equipement and a technician to diagnois the variety of problems. ABCO also has a special department dealing with and serving the limo and taxi industry in the tri-state area. ABCO is centrally located in Queens, New York. ABCO repairs, rebuilds, and services many transmissions. ABCO offers free road test & diagnosis of the transmission.
			ABCO's manager, Al Ridi, has been with the company for six years. Al is always learning the new up to date problems and solutions that this fast paced industry has to offer. Al attends seminars and reads the many bulletins and magazines that are published for this industry, ranging from Alto, Raybestos, and Allomatics bulletins to Gear, Tech-talk, and Transmission Digest. Al is also the master rebuilder for the shop, ready to meet any challenges and create miracles. Al uses high tech equipment from Snap-On tools including their data base scanning computer to check all of the vehicles that come to this shop. For the past several years Al has been experimenting and designing his own tools to aid in the rebuilding process of the 4R70W, E4OD, and 4L60E units.
